Savage Dragon #215 – Review
My eyes gleamed with joy when I say that this title was up for review. It’s been over 10 years since Ive read an issue of Savage Dragon but don’t get it twisted, my personal collection is filled with back issues of Dragon and his cohorts. I highly suggest Savage Dragon: Sex and Violence and Savage Dragon: Red Horizon for some crazy dragon action.
In #215 it seems that our Titular hero has grown quite a bit but is still as always neck deep in trouble. Malcolm’s Babies who no lie might end up being named Huey, Duey, and Louise, are Kidnapped by Dragons former ally Dart. In true Dragon fashion Malcolm storms in and single handedly saves the babies but not before Letting Dart escape narrowly through his fingers and having an entire building fall on him.
The quality of Storytelling in this title has remained at the same high level its achieved since its beginnings. Erik Larson is a living legend. His style like all of the greats has improved vastly over the years which has garnered him a massive following. The over the top stories and villians have always been a staple in Savage Dragon lore and after over a decade since Ive read this title it does my heart good to say that it really felt like reuniting with an old friend.
