Review of Shirtless Bear Fighter issue #1: Man vs. Nature.
Big, Shirtless and Macho
To what looks like a cross between Grizzly Adams and bare naked but bearded Clark Kent, Shirtless Bear-Fighter is some kind of comic book. If you love Mad Magazine, then this is your kind of print. Shirtless, to those who know him, was found and nurture by wild bears. Learning everything he could from his adoptive bear parents, lived as one of them. All was well until one day, a tragedy occurred that changed Shirtless forever. Living alone in his bear cabin, the government calls upon him to save a city under bear siege.
Artwork (5 out of 5)
Surprisingly this comic book is pleasing to the eyes. Yes. Absolutely. There is nudity that has artistically been skewed from innocent eyes. The bears are given human-like characteristics to express their distaste of RPGs being fired upon. And if that’s not all, one would never suspect seeing objects made out of bear skin, it blows the mind. Very imaginative artwork or the mind of someone who is dire need of his meds. I’ll go with imagination.
Storyline (5 out of 5)
Comic books are completely fictional and Shirtless Bear-Fighter is no exception. An orphan child left bestow upon two loving bears would make even Winnie the Pooh jealous. Though it does have the feel of a Tarzan origin storyline, this one is much funnier to read while having some flapjacks with maple syrup to pass the time.
Shirtless Bear Fighter could be one of the funniest comic books I read so far. This is something Alfred E. Neuman would have copy write for his Mad magazine. No one knows who’s the parents of Shirtless one thing is certain. Don’t call flapjacks pancakes. If funny comic books reading is your favorite pastimes, get naked and read this. Shirtless Bear-Fighter issue #2 out July 26th. Artwork: 5 out of 5 Storyline: 5 out of 5 Overall score: 5 out of 5.
