The girls seem to have a bit of trouble trying to keep things secret when it comes to the map. They have to keep on inventing lies to justify to the outside world what they are doing at any point in time. However no one is thinking of quitting, not that close, not now. Then Dot gets the idea of holding a séance. While the other girls thinks it’s a bunch of baloney, what if…?
Things are starting to change when more players become aware of the ongoing game. That map has got to mean something special if so many are willing to go into trouble for it. It makes you sit on the edge of your seat with the building tension of what will finally happen. And this one ended with one heck of a cliffhanger! Our Misfit gang seems to be closing in on some answers at last but that is when things become scary and even more intense. How long before the lies are exposed and the “bad guys” catch up? You are left seriously wondering what will happen next, and I find myself wanting a big climax to this story, something life altering for the characters. And hopefully not an easy end of the story. It seems that for now we are heading straight in the direction of something explosive happening and it makes me happy! To be continued are the three little words that can aggravate a reader so much, but it makes you appreciate the story so much more.
As per always the art is still helping the story along, providing small clues everywhere. Still very enjoyable.
So in Misfit City 3 you’ll still see yourself in a game of Clue trying to figure out things ahead of time. Yet somehow failing every time! You never see what’s coming and I like that. It makes the comic more mysterious and thrilling! On to Number 4!
