Welcome to the book of the dead! Bloodshot’s journey to the dead side where he’ll do anything to save his daughter, even if it costs him his soul. Things are getting more intense than ever before in Bloodshot’s world. Omen hacks his nanites and shuts him down at the worst moment possible. Luckily, Magic was able to reach out to Colin – aka Ninjak – for a helping hand. He teams up with his old friend in turn quite possibly saving the day. As we learn how bad the baby’s health actually is and what he might be able to do save her. Magic however deep down blames Ray for everything that’s been happening. You just need to pay attention to the time jumps in this series otherwise you’ll need a time machine to get caught up.
Fan favorite Jeff Lemire directing this journey or rather rollercoaster ride for Ray, Magic and Jessie. Jeff brings us on this twisted tale with the most dangerous man in the Valiant Universe Bloodshot, as only he can. Spine-tingling edge of your seat suspense, but I would expect nothing more from his wizardry to spin a tale like this from a master storyteller!
Renato Guedes jumps on the art chores for this book and it doesn’t skip a beat. He has such a smooth style to his artistic approach it’s mind-boggling. Compared to some books this is a breath of fresh air.
This hits the mark with both barrels blazing! This should be the first thing you read this week. With Omen in the shadows chasing Magic and Jesse, as well as shutting down Ray’s nanites not to mention the secret of Rampage who can stop them. Ninjak has already helped them out on more than one occasion. Who else can be waiting in the wings to help them? The only way to know for sure is to run out and pick up your copy of Bloodshot number six today!
