The lone surviving Battlestar, the Galactica, leads a rag-tag fugitive fleet into a wormhole on a collision course head-on into the Battlestar Galactica? Welcome to BSG vs BSG as both fleets don’t trust the other. The original crew suspects a trap and the new crew suspects the others are skin jobs and wants to airlock them. Can they get past all of these differences? They need to find a common ground and quickly the most suspect is why does their Appolo look like a young Tom Zarack? This is the ultimate sci-fi adventure yahrens in the making and it’s been well worth the wait. While all this is going on what insane battle plan has Commander Cain come up with? Where exactly is he heading with the Battlestar Pegasus?
Written by legendary scribe Peter David, BSG vs BSG is one epic space adventure. I wouldn’t expect any less from Peter he’s written some of the most incredible stories over the years but so far this tale is in the top five. I can’t wait to see where this goes, the sky’s the limit.
Johnny Desjardins handles the art chores on this book with a hand on colors by Mohan. They’ve done a good job blending their lines between the classic and updated crews. Mohan’s colors are spot on as always Looking forward to many more battle scenes on the issues yet to come.
