After Colin confronts Ninja-C about the murder of Ninja-D, he learns about a branch of MI-6 whose sole purpose is to keep the ninja candidates in line. Hearsay isn’t enough proof for Colin, he needs something more concrete. Can he come up with proof of the Acclimation Bureau even exists? Who can he trust now besides Livewire? She aids him searching databases which leads him to more breadcrumbs along the way. Will this new lead have the proof needed or will it spell the end of Ninja-K?
Christos Gauge has this series on lock! He’s woven mystery, suspense, action & adventure all in perfect balance. One of the best parts of his run at this part is the backup stories telling the history of the ninja program at MI-6. This has fast become my favorite monthly title. I’m a Christos fan for life after this series and after you read this book so will you.
Juan Jose Ryp handled the art with a helping on colors from Andrew Dalhouse. These two make a perfect pair. They compliment each other so well, it doesn’t get much better than this. They give this book great finishing touches to make the pages literally come to life right before your eyes.
As much as I enjoyed this issue, I liked the ending of the backup story even more. The way this book made me feel when I was done…priceless. Make sure you pick up Ninja-K #4 and check this out you’ll thank me for it. The flashbacks in this series will make you feel like the owner of a time machine packing throwing stars and a katana.
