The Russo bros. hit the small screen with Deadly Class
As their game changing Infinity War looms ever closer to it’s theatrical release, the SyFy channel was more than happy to announce their ordering of the Russo brother’s newest comic adaptation series Deadly Class.
The celebrated Image Comics series of 80’s counterculture created by writer Rick Remender alongside artist Wes Craig, about a homeless teen who is recruited by an ultra elite private school where their best and brightest, all happen to be populated by the next generation of crime families across the country. Now, he must balance the school’s ruthless curriculum and upholding his own moral code, all while dealing with the the typical cliques and social cliches we all remember from our own high school years. It is being described as “a coming of age journey full of ancient mystery and teen angst,” which in itself, is quite the draw.
The series is currently in preproduction with the Russos helming it as executive producers, with Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor and Maria Gabriela de Faria set to star.
