As always Alex Ross doing any cover but especially the Goon #2 B cover had me intrigued. For me its more Alex Ross love, but I’ve been told he’s (The Goon) a compelling character. Sign my up!

Synopsis: The Goon’s return to Lonely Street is off to a bumpy start. And it’s about to get bumpier when he crosses paths with up and coming crime lord Vinnie Nosferatu.

Tony: Clue: Candlestick #1
Clue or Cluedo (if you’re from the UK) is back as another round of murders occur. This new volume promises better interactive gameplay for the reader with an all-new set of game cards. Lack of being able to solve the crime yourself was the biggest put-off for me with the last Clue miniseries. Here’s hoping that I roll double sixes with this premier issue!

Jan: The Secret Life of Pets #1
With the sequel coming out next month, I am thrilled about this all-ages series from Titan! I didn’t know that Titan did anything for kids. What a great way to get youngsters reading comics than to have one star their favorite pets from the big screen!

William: Detective Comics #1004
We finally get the big reveal of who’s behind the mask of Arkham Knight!
What could possibly be their endgame? Plus what secrets so they have about Bruce Wayne’s life that he’s forgotten all about? Or were those details wiped from his mind? For all this and more check out this issue this #NCBD
Bonus check out the variant cover it’s a two-part montage cover which is just sick, I saw someone from Mega-Con bought the print of both cover together from the artist and got it signed. DC is killing it with the minimalist covers it’s like a virgin variant without the overpriced aspect.
Writer: Peter J. Tomasi
Artist: Brad Walker, Andrew Hennessy
The face behind the mask is revealed! Who’s taken up the mantle of the Arkham Knight? What’s their endgame? And what’s the shocking secret that Batman never knew about a part of his life he’d taken for granted?
Publisher: DC Comics
Brian: War of the Realms: The Uncanny X-Men #2
There are an abundance of WotR tie-ins this week, but Rosenberg’s Uncanny X-Men is the most intriguing. Rosenberg has been kill-happy in the main run, which takes place after this event, so we get the chance to enjoy some of the soon to be dead mutants as a team for an issue or two longer.
Writer: Matthew Rosenberg
Artist: Pere Perez
Sabretooth, tired of being the X-Men’s pet, is back to his bloodthirsty ways once again. Now, joined by Malekith’s forces, he’s determined to make the X-Men bleed for him…
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Rating: Teen Plus
Tarah: Spider-Man Sinister Six TPB
Who doesn’t love this group of Spider- Man’s greatest foes ? I know I do. With the next installment of Marvel’s Spider- Man : Far From home due out soon this is a no-brainer to pick up. Mysterio and possibly others of the Sinister Six are going to make their debut and this issue is a good refresher of that. I also love the old school cover design. What intrigues me about this issue is that they are back and that can only mean bad things for Spider- Man.
Writer: Stan Lee, David Michelinie
Artist: Steve Ditko, Erik Larsen
With six, you get chaos! While still in high school, the Amazing Spider-Man faced one of his most chilling challenges when a sextet of his most nerve-racking nemeses formed a cabal of crime: the Sinister Six! Already tough enough individually, Doctor Octopus, Mysterio, the Sandman, the Vulture, Electro and Kraven gave Spidey a run for his money that he never forgot! Now, years later, Doc Ock has reunited the team for his most remarkable racket yet, and time has made them deadlier than ever – even as it’s made Spider-Man’s life more complicated! With the Hobgoblin joining their villainous ranks, can Spidey teach the Six a lesson, or will they school him instead? Guest-starring the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and more! Collecting AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1963) #334-339 and ANNUAL #1.

Gaumer: Star Trek: The Q Conflict #4
Q and other powerful, god-like aliens are playing a game, and the pieces are everyone’s favorite Starfleet crews. Basically that’s this series in a nutshell, and it’s been a wonderful piece for Trek fans of just about all persuasions. This week’s issue #4, however, treads into new territory as the Bajoran Prophets enter the game. They are an unknown player in this crazy game, but a familiar one that I cannot wait to see in this series. The Q Conflict #4 is on the top of my comic stack this week.
Writer: Scott Tipton, David Tipton
Artist: David Messina
As the Captains try to figure out how to beat Q at his own game, the godlike beings offer a dangerous new challenge – drawing the extra-dimensional Prophets out of their wormhole to join the competition! The stakes have never been higher in the biggest Star Trek crossover ever. The crews of The Next Generation, The Original Series, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine come together to face their biggest challenge yet! Written by Star Trek: TNG: Mirror Broken scribes Scott & David Tipton! All the captains face off for the first time!
