E3 2019 Press Conference Schedule
The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo – or E3 – is still a few weeks away, but we already know so much. The show will be held once again at the Los Angeles Convention Center in beautiful Los Angeles, California from June 11th through the 13th, and while Sony and EA have decided to skip the press conferences that make E3 so much fun to watch, there are plenty of other publishers, studios, and game being shown off. And the pre-E3 EA Play event is still happening, so…either way, here’s your E3 2019 Press Conference Schedule.
We have all the details below, and Outright Geekery will have one of our roving reporters in L.A. for the show, so keep it here for all of the video game coverage.
Friday, June 7
Electronic Arts – The EA Play event begins at the Hollywood Palladium, where folks can play yet-to-be-released games and watch presentations of all sorts. EA Play runs through June 11.
Saturday, June 8
Nintendo – The company is holding an eSports tournament in LA, The Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 tournament, and the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 tournament. Plus, we’re getting a Nintendo Direct Showcase on June 11th (see below).
Sunday, June 9
Microsoft – MS has scheduled its traditional Xbox-focused conference for June 9 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET, and they plans to “go big,” according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer. We’re expecting a new console announcement, show off some Halo Infinite, but we know nothing else for certain.
Bethesda – Bethesda’s presser is at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET, but we’re not sure exactly what they are going to talk about. We’re just hoping it’s more than Fallout DLC.
Monday, June 10
PC Gaming Show – The annual briefing for the Video Game Master Race is happening at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
Limited Run Games – The company responsible for releasing physical versions of digital-only Switch, PS4, and PS Vita titles is holding a conference on June 10 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET…FWIW.
How to Watch: Watch on Youtube
Ubisoft – The Ubi show is on June 10 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET, and while we’re not sure what’s going to be showed off, I’m hoping for Watch Dogs 3.
Square Enix – This is the second year in a row the RPG maker, and this year their show will take place on June 10 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. We’re promised something new, suirprising, and awesome, but we haven’t a clue what it could be.
Tuesday, June 11
Nintendo – As suggested above, The Big N will be airing their pre-recorded Nintendo Direct on Tuesday morning, June 11 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. We’re likely to see some Switch games, and then the annual Treehouse livestream will continue throughout the entire E3 week.
E3 2019’s show floor is open June 11-13 for the show proper.
