The Hot One Two Celebrate Christmas with ‘Pints of Cheer’
UK rock crew THE HOT ONE TWO firmly embraces the festive period with the release of their Christmas single, Pints Of Cheer. Watch the fun-filled video for the track, here:
THE HOT ONE TWO are made up of furry-faced frontman Simon West, Nick Manners on Guitar, Bass player Nick Blackburn and Joe Chivers on Drums. Hailing from Cambridgeshire, and with an array of influences spanning from classic rock heavyweights such as Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, and AC/DC, through to modern genre-based counterparts: Black Stone Cherry, The Dead Daisies, and Foo Fighters, THE HOT ONE TWO burst onto the scene two years ago and immediately announced their arrival by winning a series of regional awards and accolades. The emerging rock ‘n’ rollers continued their climb with a glut of support shows with everyone from FM, Tygers of Pan Tang, Massive Wagons, SKAM, Tequila Mockingbyrd and Saints of Sin, through to up and coming rock n’ roll favorites, Hollowstar.
With a sound that packs hooky riffs, wizardly solos and pounding beats, THE HOT ONE TWO pull from past masters but also offers a modern take on the classic rock genre. The band will drop a series of releases in 2020 and also plan to tour widely throughout the nation’s highways and byways. For now, however, the Brit rockers are well and truly immersed in the Christmas spirit. The band’s new single, Pints Of Cheer, is slightly reminiscent of that classic Festive Banger from The Darkness, and it’s a subtle tip-of-the-hat to the antics that most indulge in during the festive season. The guys remark about the track: “Inspired by the warm fuzzy feeling of being with your nearest and dearest at the pub on Christmas Eve, Pints of Cheer celebrates the message that Christmas belongs to us all—How you choose to enjoy it is entirely up to you! In this instance, best enjoyed with a pint or two.”
