DC Comics Announces DC CONNECT, a New Monthly Catalog; Download it Now!
Things are changing a bit in the world of comics, and one publisher is trying to keep up as DC Comics announces DC CONNECT, a new monthly catalog. It’s just a single, 84-page digital document at this point, but DC promises to add to this some multimedia, including interviews, previews, videos, I’m sure gifs will be at least a portion of what we will get. But what we will get for sure is solicits and covers for upcoming DC Comics titles, just like the DC Previews used to do. Oh, and that’s going away.
Of course, this is all about DC Comics going with multiple distributors. DC Previews was Diamond’s DC catalog, so DC needs something else. A digital offering is definitely the best way to go, too. Easily shared content that everyone has a chance to get a hold of without having to go to the comic shop. While Diamond’s website, PreviewsWorld.com, is a great resource, it’s doesn’t put any sort of singular attention on a single publisher, which is likely what DC is looking for. We’ll have more on this when it comes to us, but you can grab a copy yourself at the link below and read DC’s full statement on the new DC Connect.

DC is pleased to introduce DC Connect, the new catalog of what’s coming from DC publishing each month! This downloadable, digital-only catalog features solicitation information for DC’s comic books, original graphic novels, collected editions, and collectibles—and that’s just the start!
In the coming months DC Connect will update and evolve in order to maximize the advantages of its digital format. Future issues will include expanded content, featuring talent interviews, preview pages from upcoming stories, behind-the-scenes looks at projects in development, multimedia content, and more! The catalog will also have a new look and layout compared to its predecessor, DC Previews, making it more engaging and easier to get the latest intel on current and future DC comic book projects.
Here’s a look at the debut cover to DC Connect, featuring stunning artwork by Jason Fabok and Brad Anderson for the highly anticipated miniseries Batman: Three Jokers, launching Tuesday, August 25.
